The cortijo "La Escañuela" is located in Órgiva, Granada, in the heart of "La Alpujarra" region, on the south side of the "Parque Nacional de Sierra Nevada" and it's only 28 km (18.6 miles) from the mediterranean coast and 50 km (31 miles) from the city of Granada.
